Before BC (which I only took for about 2 years), my cycles were always typically 35-42 days. After stopping BC last Sept, my cycles were 93, 41, 98, 43, 36, and 40 days. I stopped BC and we started TTC right away, but I feel we only could actually "really" start trying the last 3 cycles, since those were actually normal cycles. I know that 3 cycles or more is not out of the ordinary, so that's why I'm unsure. But it's also been a year, and I'm starting to feel like we should do *something*. I do ovulate, on my own, it just take a while. I'm typically pretty anti drug, so part of me wants to continue to let nature try to do it's thing. Would you continue to try naturally, or use some medical intervention.
My doctor has been worthless. She was telling me I wasn't ovulating and wouldn't listen to me about my charts and how I was sure I was. I had to convince her to order a blood test for me last cycle at CD28 to prove I was ovulating even though she kept telling me it'd be too late for a blood test and that since my cycles are so long it meant I wasn't ovulating and that I was just eventually bleeding, so she's been trying to tell me I NEEDED Clomid to O, which I dont.
I've also heard that even some people who do O on their own have needed Clomid to have "stronger ovulation"? Does anyone have any experience with this scenario?
