We flew with my LO at 11 months and I bought her a few things, but nothing I would recommend because she didn't play with them. She loves sunglasses, she thinks it's super fun taking them on and off our head. She also loves anything in plastic bags.

My LO seems to like this toy. The sound is not too obnoxious so it won't disturb other passengers. There's no lights though so might not work well in the dark plane cabin.

But mostly she just likes random everyday things. A spoon and a bowl is something she really enjoys lately.

When LO was 10 months old and even now, her favourite toys were/are ones she can really grasp and grip in her tiny hands - small toys that have moving parts, that rattle, and/or have different textures.

My LO is about the same age as Olive, and soft books with lots of different things to feel do a pretty good job of keeping her busy during long car trips.
