Hello! How did you sleep last night?
When was the last time you woke up when your body naturally woke you? (not the kids or the alarm or street noise or roosters)

I woke up naturally this morning. But baby had me up at midnight so I don't think it counts!

I don't remember the last time I woke up naturally. Probably in the early days when baby was sleeping until 8.30/9 am? These days it is 5.30 all the time.

R woke me up twice last night. She was just fussy in her crib and put herself back to sleep within 20-30 mins, but I had trouble falling asleep. Then she woke up at 520 to eat, right before the alarm was going to go off.

I usually wake up around 6 or 7 no matter what these days. Unless I'm up late, in which the kids wake me up.

I went to bed around midnight and woke up at 4:45.. I normally wake up at 4AM for work. I woke up naturally both days this weekend.

Xander was sick so he woke me up about 4 times last night and then the alarm woke me at 5:00 a.m.!
The last time I let my body wake me was probably when I was sick and Hubs had taken Xander to daycare. BUT that was after already having to get up and nurse Xander AND pump and then go back to bed, so I'm not sure that counts.

C just got over a phase of sleeping in until 9-10am, so I woke up naturally quite a bit during that time.
Generally, my sleep is crap. I have on-going issues with insomnia and just poor sleep in general. I wake up a lot and toss and turn.

@MamaMoose: It DOES count! Isn't it an awesome feeling?
I have woken up once on my own in the last year plus. Before pregnancy I used to wake up before my alarm every day!
@plantains: I feel you on that. I hope you get to wake up on your own one day soon.
@Smurfette: Ugh alarm AND baby. I hope tomorrow you get to wake up on your own.
@mrbee: That;s not bad!
@Mommytotwois: That's not much sleep at all!
@Adira: Ouch! Not a good night!

I wake up on my own around 4 am every morning, then I usually sleep lightly for another hour or so. I start my day at 5:15. Weekends might go as long as 6, but it's not usual.

@pastemoo: No it isn't! I call myself a living zombie.....I don't know how I function on 5 hours of sleep a night and working 50 hour weeks but somehow I do....Since I work so long I try to squeeze in as much time with my newest LO while she is up and older LO is sleeping.

I woke up around 6 a.m. this morning, naturally. Early for me, but I still have jet lag/messed-up sleep issues. Had a nightmare, woke up crying. Couldn't sleep well after that, then just waited till K woke up for a feeding. Couldn't go back to sleep after that either.

@Mommytotwois: Wow! I did that for almost a month and practically had a breakdown--I need more sleep. I hope you can catch a break soon.

@pastemoo: That's what I'm worried about. Sometimes I almost start crying because I know how tired I am. I hope so too. I knoow it's going to really hit me soon.
