Did your LO have a growth spurt around 18 months?
LO usually sleeps more than usual during her transitional periods (you can hate me, feel free) and homegirl has been sleeping a TON the last couple of weeks. Like Friday night it was 8pm until I finally woke her up Saturday at NOON. That is crazy!

Yes, I believe she did at that age. I remember going through sleepers all of a sudden. Enjoy the extra sleep!

My LO sleeps more during growth spurts and when he's sick. I would probably be a little concerned if he was sleeping 16 hours straight though.
You're gonna have a heck of a time if she keeps up these sleep habits as a tween/teen!

@Sammyfab: that's what I always tell myself!! Great now, but going to be a challenge when she outgrows my ability to lift her out of a crib in the mornings to wake her.

Could be growth spurt or maybe she is coming down with something? my LO NEVER sleeps a ton during growth purts, so no help there...but my guess is she's going through one or just not feeling too well!
