How far along were you when you had an early ultrasound and what could you see?
With my first we had one at 6 weeks and a few days and saw the heartbeat but then at 10 weeks we saw the heartbeat and a cute little wiggling beansprout.

At 6ish weeks I saw the heartbeat, then at 12 weeks, the little bean was jumping

I had a vaginal ultrasound at 11w4d.

I didn't have one until the anatomy scan.

Our first one was 8-10 weeks and you could hear the heartbeat and see the sack.

First one was 8 wks and we could see the heartbeat and a bean shaped baby. 12 weeks we saw a baby with flailing arms, legs, fingers, toes, nose and well, a pretty normal looking baby! They were jumping around and waving arms and legs like crazy! Our next one we will get to see the gender!

I happen to have my early u/s on my phone so here they are at 7w and 9w. It's amazing to see the difference 2 weeks can make. In the 7w you can see the yolk sac really well but babe looks like a little blob. I did see a flickering heart beat at that point though. At 9w you can see more of a human shape and a little arm bud if you look closely. They were both vag scans. I also had one at 12w and it looked like a real baby then. I am now waiting a few more weeks until I get my 20w scan!

I had a 5 week U/S and didn't see much (no HB) but by 7-8 weeks I could definitely see it!

I had one around 8 weeks and it was abdominal so I don't know if we saw as much as if it had have been vaginal. Baby girl was kind of a blob but we could see the heart beating!!

I had one at 7wks 4 days and it was a blurry blob with a flickering hearbeat. Amazing experience!

I had one between 8-9 weeks, and it was a tummy one. So lucky I never had a vaginal one. We got to hear and see the heart beat.
Then had another one at almost 13 weeks.

I had one at 7 weeks and 9 weeks. The first one was a blob with a heartbeat and the second one was a baby alien with a heartbeat. Both so cool

I had my first ultrasound at what we thought was 10 weeks but was actually 11. It also seemed like we kind of pushed for it. I am not sure our OB would have made us get one. I was glad to have it for the reassurance. DS was moving his arms around and we could see all of his little fingers too!
