Nice article and study. I knew my exact conception date but my OB still wanted to go by the first US. I was like, ok but I can calculate the date exactly!

Interesting! I delivered exactly on my due date so I liked having one, lol. It's nice to have a date to think of but it can be hard not to get attached to that date especially in the third trimester!

@Mrs. Jacks: same- I was charting and pretty much knew my exact conception date, but it lined up within a day of my due date based on LMP anyway, and the 12 week ultrasound was also within a day. She was born one day before the due date, too.
But I always kept the due date as a four week range in my head and assumed I'd go later.
