Ah, I would love to do a 5 year trip. Ours will be in Aug 2015 - we'll see what happens! But I've always said I wanted to go back to Italy for our 10th.

Our 5 yr is in august too! By then DS will be 23 months and dd will be 6 months. Would love a trip but will have to postpone until finances are better!

Our 5 yr is in August as well! We are hoping to take a cruise with LO, who will be about 18 months. Nothing set yet, we'll see! We had wanted to return to Fiji (where we honeymooned) or at least go halfway and visit Hawaii again, but definitely not happening with a baby!

Our 5 year is this year. Nothing planned since our anniversary is near the holidays and we will be traveling back east.

We might be going to London this year because of work, so that could be our early anniversary trip.

Our fifth was two years ago. We had originally planned to head back to a little castaway island that was our favorite spot on our honeymoon (in French Polynesia), but we ended up deciding to go on an entirely new adventure, and I'm so glad we did. We decided we wanted to start TTC soonish so we wanted to go somewhere that would be difficult once we had kids.

We ended up going on safari in Tanzania and it was a truly magical lifetime experience--the coolest trip of our lives and the perfect way for the two of us (adventurous animal loving nerds) to celebrate such a big anniversary.

Our 5th is next October. We've been dreaming about going to Hawaii, but it's ridiculously far from us + we'll have to stop over to visit my mom since it's on the way. It'll be way too expensive, so we're pushing it for our 10 year.

I don't think we'll be having a special anniversary trip next year, but we'll definitely vacation somewhere and hopefully get a great deal like we did this year.

I'm sure we'll do something special. S will be 3 by then so we'll see how portable she is at that point. Or if my parents or MIL fancy having her, Maldives here we come!!

I do have to add that I am hoping to get pregnant this year. That would be the ultimate anniversary gift!

I was preg with #2 during our 5th so no trip - but next year is our 10th and we are def doing something big!!!

No, we won't do anything for year 5. It's not that big of a deal. We're saving for a trip for our 10th when our lo will be old enough to leave with my parents.

@locavore_mama: I grew up in Lake Erie, I don't have 3 eyes. I can't wait to take M back there to play at Linwood with my cousins' kids!

Aww, our five year has come and gone, we've still not taken a trip.

Eventually, maybe next year.
