Hi everyone!
I am looking to announce to my parents this weekend! However, I have 3 older siblings who all have kids so this won't be their first grandchild. All the cute ideas I see are about "being promoted to grandparents" or "grandma est. 2015". Any fun ideas? I'm due in October.

My sister in law gave my parents a little photo album with pictures of their current grandkids and the last page had a place holder for the newest grandkid with the due date.

E was my IL's 5th grandchild. I found a poem online "from baby" that I printed on nice paper, framed, wrapped and put under the Christmas tree for our Yankee swap.

We did a frame with a picture of the ultrasound that said, "Official version expected in February 2014!"

@natalie403: My son was the second grandchild. I took a picture of my nephew and put it on the lefthand side of a two-part picture frame. I wrote "First grandchild." On the right half-frame, I put an ultrasound picture and put "Second grandchild." You could do this with a picture of all your nieces/nephews, and then say something like "and room for one more" maybe? Something like that? It took my parents a minute to figure out, but it was one of the best moments of my life as I watched them interpret the news. Congratulations!

@natalie403: For our parents (not the first grandchild on either side), we gave them children's books with a little note that said "Will you read this to me when I arrive in (October)? Love, Baby LastName" It took my mom a minute to figure it out but it was fun with the other sets of grandparents.
FYI, I recently got started watching youtube videos of couples doing baby reveals to their families. (Watched one, and new ones kept popping up on the side.) It was really sweet and you could get lots of ideas.

Thanks ladies!!! Great ideas We ended up framing at ultrasound with a note that said "Can't wait to meet you in October Papa!"
