Does anyone have any experience with anterior synechiae? DD got flagged at her 3 year check up as having vision issues, so she had a specialist visit this morning. I assumed it was nothing, because the same thing happened with DS. So I didn't go to the appointment and DH took her. As it turns out, she has a congenital condition called anterior synechiae, which means her pupil is fused to the lens and it's blocking 30-50% of her vision in that eye. In a few months they're going to dilate her eye and hope that it'll detach where it's stuck.

Apparently she's managing very well in spite of the blockage.
DH says the doctor wasn't that concerned but I'm over here like . Does anyone have any experience with this?
