I'm a total introvert married to an extrovert. The statements that article made about phone calls totally rang true for me. I screen calls and then text back when I'm ready.

I can so relate, especially to the phone thing! I HATE talking on the phone, and I especially hate when someone calls and I'm not expecting it. I just feel unprepared and caught off guard and get all flustered -- it feels like an intrusion of sorts.

@Danizaur: You know, I'm actually fine speaking in front of kids, I don't know if it's because I feel like they judge me less? Hahaha. And I have definitely gotten better at public speaking as I've gotten older, but it still gives me huge butterflies and the shakes when I have to do it!

My husband showed me this. He is a total introvert, and I am the complete opposite. I remember in the early stages of our relationship years ago, this difference posed so many problems for us (e.g. Social commitments especially). Since then I've totally become more open minded about introversion and I thought this article was really interesting / good for the masses as introverts can be really misunderstood sometimes.
ETA even though I'm an extrovert, I also hate talking on the phone. Lol

18 of them...I have always been an introvert and have to force myself to be more social at work, especially when I have to get up in front of people. DH is the complete opposite.
