What am I watching?!?
Tonight's episode was a competitive/nutso mom who is 100% obsessed with pushing her son. Ugh, it's so sad - I feel awful for the kid.
At least I feel like a better parent after watching it
Have you seen it?

As in physically pushing her son??
Never heard of it, but we don't get the same Bravo shows here in Canada.

@Freckles: not physically!! This lady wants her 4 year-old to be president someday so he's been in every type of activity/sport since he was 3 months old. She calls him a baby and a spoiled brat if he cries. Ick.

I've got it recorded and tried to watch, but I couldn't get past the first five minutes. DH couldn't take it. I'm going to try to watch it this weekend. I feel like it might be a good thing to watch about what not to do...

Not yet, the previews look over the top and phony. @HLK208: did the it look real and usual to you?

I haven't watched it yet, but I would if it were on when I was watching tv! I have too many episodes of SYTYCD and Naked and Afraid to catch up on, haha

@HLK208: Yikes! Your description makes me scared to even try it! Is each episode following a different parent? I wonder how they determine if the parenting style is "extreme" or not.

Ugh, sounds ick. I don't watch much actual TV anymore it's always Netflix so I'm way behind on what's new, but I'm so not into these new reality shows

Omg DH and I watched last weeks episode about "The Wanderers". These people LIVED out of their car! Their poor soon (they have a dd too) was dyyyying for some private space, it was so obvious. Finally they got a trailer but their lifestyle sure seemed extreme!

Haven't seen it, but in general reality TV does make me feel better about my own life. When I was pregnant with DS#1 and terrified of delivery DH would always say, "Come on now, if girls like Farrah and Jenelle can do this, so can you - you're way more awesome and strong than any of them!" Haha.
