yes, I want to vent. I have had a full body rash for 7 weeks, and it's just getting worse and I basically want to die. It's particularly bad today. I have yet another doctor's appointment on Tuesday at NYU--hoping they can give me some answers. I've had 5 doctor's appointments and 2 biopsies in the last 5 weeks and so far, NOTHING WORKS and no one really knows what's happening to me.

I'm itchy and stingy at the same time. I still have to work, and mom. I have to take my students on a full day field trip Monday, and I can't out of it because it's a specialty field trip that I organized and I'm the only adult taking my group of 8 kids. EFF ME.

So I have to somehow make it till Tuesday.

@Anagram: I can't believe no one can figure it out. I'm sooo sorry! You seriously win ALL of my pity; tho I know it does nothing for ya I really, really hope you get better asap!

DD2 is starting PT daycare in a month. DD1 is in daycare full time and we will literally save nothing got at least 2 years till DD1 goes to K. And even then we prob still need aftercare for her....

I'm solo-parenting for much of the summer due to my husband's travel schedule and just not looking forward to it. Plus working full-time and our budget is super, super tight with two in daycare, I can't afford a babysitter for any me-time. He wants me to FaceTime him with the girls 2-3 times a day and I'm starting to resent it because it cuts into my time to get things done in the mad scramble between getting us all out the door and the dog walked and then coming home, walking the dog, and getting the littlest into bed. By the time they go to bed, I barely have any energy to do something for myself, but I have to make sure that everything is prepared for the next day so we can do it all again.

@Anagram: yikes!! I had a mysterious full body rash that was never diagnosed since I didn't have insurance and just did self-care at the time. Good luck!! Mine went away after a few months. I hope yours does too!

I just realized this thread was under "parenting support". Oh well, thanks for letting me vent. lol

@Chuckles: I'm not pregnant! So I don't think it's pupps. I've been to 3 doctors now and still no firm answers. I had a biopsy, which was inconclusive and now they sent my skin tissue to Brigham and Women's in MA for second opinion. But I still haven't heard back, and I'm desperate, so now I have the NYU appointment Tuesday.

I just want answers and a CURE, stat. I'm miserable.

Yes please!!! So dh is planning a golf trip with his buddies.... Some are single no kids and one has older kids. We have a 3 mos old and a 3.5 yo. And I woh full time. Anyway first he says it's Thursday through Sunday so I say ok. Not thrilled but I'll survive. Well the next day he comes back and says some of the guys are going Monday through Sunday- basically all week. I say no way so dh said Thursday - Monday and again I said no. I just don't want to face Monday morning solo. I'll have to be late for work in order to do drop off and quite frankly I feel that three nights and 4 days is plenty for him to be gone. I'm so mad bc he got so pissed and acts like I'm being irrational for not just allowing him to go as he wants

@Ajsmommy: Um, if my husband tried to say something ridiculous like "I want to go on a golfing trip from Thursday to Monday" he wouldn't get halfway through that sentence before he heard a click, dial tone. Is he insane? He better be coordinating family members, sitters, or Mommy' helpers to be coming for any weekend gone. Nope nope nope.

I am 10 weeks pregnant and nauseous and tired all the time. Chasing after my 2 yo doesn't help and I'm solo parenting a lot these days as DH is doing a lot of house stuff that needs to get done.

@avivoca: uggggh that sucks! I wasn't actually even going to go to this wedding before the groom asked dh to be a groomsman but felt like I had to once he did. But then my parents also offered to come with and watch the girls when I was talking to them about not knowing what to do-- totally above and beyond! I'm also confused about why all the destinations we have weddings in this summer are so hard/$$$$ to get to-- we're in NYC for goodness sake, there are lots of airports here! 🙄

Can I vent please? I started a new job a month ago. My old job was really flexible and I worked from home regularly (but I was really bored and demotivated). I used to take a two hour nap every lunchtime when I worked from home! My new job is less flexible - which I LOVE because it means I don't get lumbered with all pick up/drop offs - but I'm absolutely, completely worn out! If I'm not working, I'm parenting. I haven't had a single nap or even an hour off in a month.... and I can't see the opportunity presenting itself any time soon. And I can't vent to my husband because he didn't know I used to take naps when I worked from home (hahaha) and because this is just what everyone else has to deal with

My DH has had the last week off work because he needed a break. It happened to coincide with the half term week (schools shut) so we paid for additional full time childcare for E so he could have said break. He was grumpy that he had to get out of bed every morning to drop the kids to childcare but that's just life.... Anyway, today (it's Sat morning here) he is claiming his lie in..... and E has come down with a vomiting bug. I'm juggling a 14 month old who is just learning to walk with a vomiting almost-4 year old solo because he is lying in bed looking at his phone.... So I just went up and asked him to help and he's in a huge sulk about the injustice of his life.

So, yeah... Same old story here.

@Cherrybee: um I think that means you dump the vomiting child on top of him in bed. What a dick!

@Mrs. Pajamas: @Bibliolove: Thanks for much, hugs right back atcha. It really is tough. I'm so tired of being disappointed every month but somehow still remain optimistic. Congrats on your babies.

Splurged on some family pics that happened today. DD1 (almost 3) pretty much screamed and cried the whole time refusing to face forward and hysterical if she had to be close to her baby sister. Not at all how I imagined those going and certainly not how the pics on my Pinterest board look like I also have my MIL and her husband living with us until they buy a house. They decided to move to our town from out of state to be closer to the kids. Love the extra help but I'm on maternity leave and it really kinda sucks now having 2 more people to clean up after. I also just want to enjoy my last few weeks before going back to work.

@CatchAFallingStar: Not really. I chart my cycles and I do O with a sastained rise. I've had blood work done and confirmed O, everything looks good. The only thing I notice is I have a short LP, 10 days. My cycles are also vary 29-42 days. If this cycle is a bfn I'm going to a RE for more testing and DH will get a SA. We upped our BD this cycle and started acupuncture. I'll test in a week or so. The wait is killing me! 🤞

@YogiBeachWife: How old are you? I know short luteal phase is an easy thing to address with an RE. You will definitely want to discuss that with them. Your variation in cycles might be an issue as well, but most likely an easy fix.

@CatchAFallingStar: I'll be 33 in July and this will be my first baby. I currently see a CNMW so I'm not even sure if she is going to want me to speak with an OB first or what. Should I skip past the OB? I feel clueless and this whole process makes me so overwhelmed. I just read through some of your threads/posts. How are you doing? Sending you much luck!!
