@Foodnerd81: M loves this picnic basket. It was actually recommended to me on here! She plays with it every day. And all the pieces fit inside the basket so it doesn't take up very much room.

Does she already have a folding doll stroller? I think we're doing on of the cheapie ones for LO for Christmas. And my husband is going to make a latch board, because she's super into figuring out buckles, snaps, and latches.

And maaaaybe a folding kitchen helper, although that's more for me. Am hoping that will help LO get off my leg while I'm cooking.

We live in a 2 bedroom 900sqft apt. Last year at 19 months she got the fisher price klip klop stable and a couple extra horses. She has literally played with it everyday since.

We live in a townhouse, but I've dedicated a corner of our living room to Sadie. We're actually getting her a kitchen, but I had to find a small one. I got the kidkraft vintage, because it is pretty tiny and will also double as toy storage.

Sadie loves her little people. I bought a little bucket at the dollar tree, and we've filled it with little people. It doesn't take up much room, and can be put away easily. She plays with her LP every day. She has the dollhouse, which also doesn't take up much room since it folds.

We're also getting Sadie a pop-up play house/tent. It folds flat, and comes with a carrying case. We can just pop it open and let her play, but as soon as she's done we can twist it back up & store it under the couch/in a closet. This is the one we're getting (but there are tons on Amazon):

My son used to love his ride on car when we lived in an apartment. A plasma car could also be an option, it's light and can be moved around and lasts forever!

We live in a condo and don't have a ton of storage space, so I am asking the grandparents to give us "memberships/activities" We both work full time but would love to have a weekend class, especially as it gets colder. I think we will ask for swim lessons and a music class. For her birthday we got a membership to the aquarium. I also do this because some of the grandparents go over board with stuff and I can't deal with the clutter!!

Would it be rude to ask for just money?

LO has enough toys... so most extended family (including inlaws) just give us money for clothes (it says on the card what it's for usually) - I put in his saving account for college or whatever he wants to do with it when he's old enough to decide.

I think they do this because LO is dressed pretty well when they see extended family so they think we buy a lot of nice clothes... little do they know I buy his nice clothes sale/used/outlets. The only nice clothes he has is when he sees extended family. Haha.

My parents by LO things and it stays at their house for when he visits them since we don't have room for anything big.
