@MrsRoo: I just baked my 2 smash cake layers this past weekend. I did 6inch cakes. Honestly, it seems HUGE! I'm not doing it over at this point though!
My LO turns 1 in 10 days
and his party has been moved to Easter Sunday (since nobody has to work!). I have majorly fallen off the party planning wagon and feel like a terrible mommy 
At least I have his cake layers in the freezer!

@MrsRoo: I am making 6 inch rounds (2 that I will split) So it will be nice and tall. We did smash cake pictures this weekend and LO wasn't interested at all!!!
@cmomma17: You have planty of time to plan!! There are still 2 weeks- just make yourself a master list and start checking things off!!

@cmomma17: you're not a terrible mommy! 2 weeks is still a lot of time to plan! I second using a master list. I have one and I just delegate tasks to DH when he starts looking too comfortable on the couch
@cheert16: yay! How did they come out? We are doing Ks smash cake photos the day after her party.
The test cake I made was 4", triple layered. She picked the entire thing up and ate it.... I'm a little concerned she'll pick it up and immediately chuck it on the ground- I can never predict how she'll react to large groups of people. Should I just buy some 6" pans and make it bigger to be safe?

8 days to LO's birthday and I'm still a slacker! Have yarn letters to finish, no solid decorating plan, haven't even decided the time of the party! Whoops!
