I feel like most everyone on here is Asian! And they talk about their fun foods and fun little Asian sayings and I am so lost. Oh and the postpartum ritual things like not showering for 30 days and eating seaweed soup. It's all very interesting and new to me,

I'm Taiwanese, but my husband is Korean... and grew up around a lot of Koreans so I know a lot about Korean food + culture. I also think that there are a ton of Koreans on this site!

I feel like there are a lot as well! I grew up in an area with pretty much no diversity (my HS graduating class had only one person who was not white). I have no clue about the foods...especially Pho which appears popular. I could google but I'm lazy lol.

Oh and just as an aside, one of my best friends is in Korea teaching English so I've been able to understand more about what he's experiencing!

I think there are a lot of Asians on here, primarily Koreans...but maybe that's just top/frequent posters.

I grew up in NYC, so diversity is our shtick, I guess. In my high school, although pretty much every race/culture was represented, it was primarily Russian and Chinese, so my closest/longest Asian friends are Chinese-American. Two of my co-workers are Korean and every year we do a Korean BBQ and karaoke night since in our department of 6, Koreans are the majority

I need an "other" button. My baby is Filipina (1/4) and I've always been called an egg... white on the outside, Asian on the inside.

I'm Asian but not Korean! I'm trying to think of some Korean HBers...Mrs. Bee, Mrs. Wagon, Mrs. Cowgirl, Rubies, Chopsuey, Blackbird and I think Spaniellove?

I do feel like a lot of the HB (and WB) communities tend to be asian. However, a lot of the demographic is from california or NYC, which also tends to have a higher asian population.

I'm part korean, but I'm landlocked I also pretty rarely see asian people around here, unless I go to a korean market or restaurant. There is not much diversity here =\

It may or may not be a coincidence that Bee is from California and I am from New York... and that we are both part or fully Asian. Although I've run other sites, and a lot of them have been California/NY heavy... it may just be the demographic nature of the USA.

That said, we are both committed to diversity of all kinds!

I'm Chinese ABC. I was under the impression there was a lot of Asians on HB too.

Chinese abc here... Some people I can tell from their posts what their ethnicity might be. Others, not as much.
