There is a county fair that happens within a mile of our home every August. Last year we skipped it - LO was only 3 months old and I didn't want him out in that heat so young, and he was really too little to get anything out of it. But I'm super excited to take him this year!

Our biggest local festival (parades, circus, wine festival, activities in the park, etc. etc. etc.) was two weekends ago.
Yesterday LO and I took my mom to a plant sale/festival at an arboretum about 15 minutes away.
There always seems to be something! Lot's of fairs in the summer, celtic festival, free concert series, etc. -
Our fair was in April. Vi loved the fair but hated the rides. Including the carousel.
