I was also born in Ga and now live in Tx. I've been here 5 years and I love it. I'd be happy living here forever. I also wouldn't mind living in Ga or Louisiana.

I'm from Texas too, transplant from upstate New York. I've lived here for 11 years now and love it! I couldn't live anywhere else and for some faults that our state has, I love living in Austin because I feel like it's an exception to a lot of the stereotypical "Texas" things.

Yes! I am a proud Washigntonian! DC in the house!

Yes! Have only lived here for 5 years, but I love calling North Dakota home! Previous to here, I grew up in PA, OH, and MI, married my hubby in PA and lived there for awhile, but I found where I fit in NoDak, USA!

Eh, I've never lived anywhere other than CT and don't know if I'd say I'm proud to be from here, but I'm not ashamed either. Indifferent, maybe?

I have family in TX though and I visiting them. Everyone always seems to be so proud of where they live and I think it's contagious.

I'm not American but I'm not super proud of my birth province (Quebec).

I'm a Masshole born and raised! I've lived elsewhere even outside the country for several years and nowhere can compare to home. I swear I could not survive long term anywhere else.

Yeah, for the most part SC makes me proud. I like that it's generally a hands-off state. We're moving to NC next year, so I just consider being from "The Carolinas."

I'm going against the consensus but I wouldn't say I'm proud of my hometown state. I love my hometown city because of the nostalgia, but pick on it a lot.

I really love the city I live in now.

I'm going against the grain on this one, but I live in Texas now and can't say that I'm really proud of it. I'm from Michigan and I really miss seasons. DH is a native Texan and now so is LO. My hope is to raise her with a healthy love of my beautiful home state.

I'm proud to be from AL, pretty indifferent to living in MD. It's not my favorite. Though, I'm so close to DC that I usually just say I live in DC, which I did for a while and I'm proud of.

I have a love/hate relationship with Florida. I feel like I agree way too often when people make fun of it. I'm pretty sure I about died during Easy A when Emma Stone said "if there's anything worse than chlamydia, it's Florida," because so often that feels like the truth.

But there are a few magical things that make me proud, too.

I was born and raised in NY...and I hate it here. I just can't bare to leave my family behind so I stay. I should have been from the south or midwest....

Had to come back and answer because I don't live in my hometown. I am not proud to be a Floridian. We treat vulnerable groups here horribly- children, homeless. We have an inept governor. And it's too freaking hot most of the year.

I love Washington State. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else! We're pretty freakin' liberal up in here, but I can deal with it.

I'm not necessarily proud of my state, but I do love my city. I Baltimore even though it is too gritty for most people's taste.

We did legalize gay marriage which makes me pretty stinkin proud though!
