How often are you taking "bump" shots. I was thinking doing it every other week, but I feel like it's going to get tiresome fast.
I may do it whenever I remember, but only post 1 per trimester and some "style the bump" outfit pics. What about you?

I did every 2 weeks with the same shirt and a covered and uncovered belly shot. I put a reminder on my phone and it was something to look forward to for me. Sometimes I thought there wasn't a lot of change, (looking at them all together there was) but I wanted to make a little photo book after and I'm really glad I did it. I used an app to put the text label of the weeks. Kind of boring...but that's how I roll.

@stiletto_mom: I take a photo once a week, I have since I found out. It's not a big deal for me. Every Thursday before I walk out of the door to work I snap a photo and move on.
I'm only 9 weeks, so there hasn't been much progress...just bloat ahah.
Once I start showing more I'll have my DH take the photo, hopefully with the nursery in the background so I'll be able to see me and the nursery change over time.

Weekly. Started at 4 weeks with my son. Started at 13 weeks this time...deleting the weekly pics after my mc in between my son and this pregnancy sucked.
I just take it any time within the week. I made a photo album on my publisher. I didn't post them to social media at all.

None. I don't take selfies, and my husband is a bossy photographer, so it doesn't make it any fun!

I took them weekly wearing the same outfit in the same spot so I could really see how much my stomach grew.

Every 2 weeks starting at 12wk with my first (but I didn't post online); these pregnancy, I'm 36wk and have only taken about 4, and they aren't pretty ones like last time.

With my first I took them every week in the same outfit. With my second and third I take Ben every week, but in different outfits, and not necessarily on the same day.

I think i have about 20 photos, all same outfit/pose. My husband photoshopped them into a single image after the birth and included one with me holding my son at the end.

My first pregnancy I took them weekly. This time I'm lucky if they happen every other week.

I started out strong with one about every or every other week. During the middle I took one about every 3-ish weeks, and toward the end I was back to every/ every other week. I would use different backdrops, so even if my bump didn't change much, they weren't too repetitive.

Took one every weekend last time (starting at 13 weeks) in the same outfit and standing in front of the same blank wall in our apartment (except for the weekend we were on our babymoon, when we did the shot with the beach as the backdrop). I also did a pic one week and two weeks post-delivery, holding LO to my belly about where she had been inside. The pics make the cutest time lapse!! My belly never got huge last time (I had hyperemesis til the end and didn't gain much weight, plus LO came early at 37 weeks) but it is still one of my favorite pregnancy mementos. We did do a maternity photo session around 33 weeks, but other than that and the weekly bump pics we never took any other pics of pregnant me. So no record of what I wore day-to-day or any favorite maternity outfits, so that's kind of a bummer. My DH/family even forgot to get a pic of me at our shower! (Lots of pics of guests and decor though, d'oh!)
I'm pregnant with baby 2 now and we have been doing weekly belly pics again (starting around 12 weeks as I am MUCH bigger this time and started showing SOOO much earlier) every Sunday morning - I just throw on the same pair of yoga tights and black tank top (which is perfect Sun morning loungewear anyway) and we snap the pic in 10 seconds. This time LO (22 months now) stands next to me in half the shots (wearing PJs usually!) and I think it will be fun to see her grow up over the course of the pregnancy too when we are done with the series.
This time I will insist on a pic of me at our sprinkle! And we are doing maternity pics with the same photographer, again at 33 weeks. But It is super fun (and scary?) to have weekly pics from last time to compare just how much BIGGER the bump is this time around at the same week.
If you do go to the trouble of doing weekly pics I recommend The Belly Book to paste them into - even if you don't keep the journal it is a good photo album for weekly shots and you can use a few of the prompts to jot a few thoughts down even after the fact. My LO loves looking at the pics in the Belly Book, especially the last two in the series, where I'm holding tiny her!

I took weekly pics. It was a bit of work, but I liked viewing the progression from beginning to end near the end of my pregnancy.

Weekly for baby 1, about 4 random times for baby 2. Whoops, sorry sweet second baby!!

I didn't do anything consistent for LO, but I did ask DH to take pictures of just me every so often (normally I would never do that). We probably averaged about one per month, and then I took one right before we left for the hospital on the day she was born. I put them all in a little book and you can definitely see the progression.
This time around, I might try to actually do something where I wear the same clothes each time. I'm 13 weeks today so I should probably start soon.
