What is the longest you have gone in an argument/fight with your significant other?
I may or may not be dealing with an argument from yesterday that stemmed into another argument today with my own. Hrmph. That's what we get for not working the first one out....

ugh. we've been arguing for the last couple months, really..not about the same thing but just generally. he's been in a funk since his parents almost split in december (believe it or not, he got madder when they stayed together..confused). I think he's taking it out on me instead of his mom (who he can't stand).
I also think he's stressed about baby, breadwinner, etc..just not the best way to deal with it, HONEY! lol! sheesh, I'm stressed too!
I lurk on WB and saw a thread over there about being pregnant and annoyed with spouse. I was so glad I'm not the only one! Haha!

@sorrycharlie: that's weird, the same thing happened with my in-laws and my husband had the same reaction!! He was mad that they stayed together. I think his point was, you put yourselves and us through all that stress for nothing. Thanks.

Aww hope you can work it out soon, arguing is no fun! We've had arguments that last a couple of days too. They're rare, but they happen.

mmm usually it's over within the hour.
like last night, when he grocery shopped too long, so potbelly's was closed by the time he got done, and i was crabby about not getting my pickle and oreo shake 
sometimes it's a day or two. we're cordial, but still need some time before we make up.

Usually over within an hour as well, like @mrsjyw. That's because DH cannot stand having unresolved conflict though and will not rest until we work things out. We also rarely have big fights--usually they're about silly things that we realize are silly within a short amount of time. The larger disagreements aren't fights--more discussions that happen over the course of a few days.

@mrsjyw: OH MY GOD you have a Potbelly's near you. I am so very jealous. Yes, this has nothing to do with arguments but I couldn't help mentioning it. That used to be my go-to lunch when I worked in DC.

We don't usually argue per se. It is just usually me telling him he is wrong and him trying to deny it until he finally says sorry. It just happened this morning!

It usually gets diffused before it boils into a full blown argument, but probably like once or twice a year an issue we argued over doesn't get resolved that day and it will linger for a while. We eventually come to a resolution though, nothing has ever gone unresolved. But it's not like we aren't speaking to each other until it's resolved, we just put it on the back burner for a few days until it bubbles up again.

A couple hours, I usually sleep on it and wake up and we apologize and work it through in the morning when tempers are down! We both have notoriously bad tempers and are stubborn...bad combination during a fight when no one wants to give in! haha
