Bee is asleep or else I'd ask her... pretty sure she'd say something in the range of 60%! We split a lot of chores, but she does 100% of the laundry and with four people... that's a lot of laundry!
What does your SO say their percentage of household chores is? And while we're at it, what would you say is their accurate percentage.

Mr. T is fabulousness personified. He probably does 75% of the chores (we're not counting cooking). He actually encouraged me to hire someone to come clean when things were really stressful with Ellie and Lorelei's sleep was all whacked out. We now have a friend who comes every other week, and it has been so helpful all around. But beyond that he does LOTS to help around the house; does dishes, folds laundry, cleans floors, helps pick out Ellie's clothes for school, does dog chores... he is truly a wonderful and thoughful husband. I try to repay him by keeping things reasonably tidy (his pet peeve is disorganization), making yummy meals and other food, taking good care of the girls, and telling him how much I adore him on a regular basis.

@mrbee: I should feel some pretty massive guilt considering I am the "at home" one and he works WAY more than 40 hours a week, but it really works for us. And he's not hands-off with the girls, either. I am spoiled, but I really do try to spoil him back, and I think we do a pretty good job of talking about things any time we feel that something isn't working.

He said 55%. Accurate! The only reason it isn't 50/50 is because I rarely wash dishes. He always does!

I don't know what mine would say. We have two places since he works out of town and he does a good job keeping that place clean and picked up, but when he is at our other place and he is off, he doesn't do anything. I do it all. Which means, sometimes it just doesn't get done. I've tried to get him to help, but it doesn't work, or at least it hasn't so far in the years we've been together.

He'd probably answer 0 and he would be correct. He is responsible for the pool and all the yard work, which is a 4 seasons job.
I do about 25% myself and the cleaning lady does the rest.

SO says he does 25% and I have to agree! I do most of the daily chores like trying to keep house tidy but he steps up to help when I need him too.

His response was "what chores do you do?" and when I gave him the look of death he said "Mrbee causes spouses to fight!" I don't know what the percentage is; he does more everyday things and I do the deep cleaning.

DH would say 70%, but I think it's closer to 55%. Haha. He does the laundry but I put it away and I do all of the cooking, which unfortunately isn't too much. I so want a cleaning lady...

It's usually about 60% me, 40% him; although at almost 32 weeks pregnant, that has probably swung the other way . Like some other bees, I'm not willing to rock the boat at the moment by asking

His answer was "I have no idea." I asked if he thinks we split things evenly or if there is anything uneven and he said "I don't know."

We're 50/50. It totally depends on the day and the chore. But he is more than willing to wash dishes (I detest washing dishes), which makes him 100% in my book!

@Espion: I agree we are pretty much 50/50 as well the days he is off and I am not he will do 100% I do the same and if when we are both off we do about the same......I guess I'll be nice and say he may even do more than me because he does the yard work, and I don't......although I like to mow the lawn in the summer......quick cardio and a tan......lol

Lol he said 2% which is probably accurate. Maybe I will upgrade to 5%. My FIL lives with us and helps cook on weekends, wash dishes and cleans the bathroom though!

He says 15% and I said "that's it?" Lol...I guess I do a lot but I would say he does at least 30? I do all bathroom cleaning 100% of the time. Sweeping and mopping the hardwoods all the time and maybe 80% of the laundry and dishes. I'm a SAHM so I try and get it all done and have dinner ready when he gets home. He does all outside chores though.

At first he said 5%...then I corrected him that he does more. It's really more like 30%. But I stay at home so part of my job is te laundry, cooking, keeping the house clean etc...
He does the dishes and takes out the trash

He said he doesn't really know, but he's being modest. It varies week to week, but he is far more organized and linear thinking than I am. I'd say 50-80%, with the variation depending on LO's (lack of) sleep. I do about 95% of the baby duties though.
