We had our girl name picked out before I got pregnant. Once we found out we started discussing boy names. I was pretty sure we were having a boy. Around 9 weeks (as we were driving home from my parents' house after we told them) I brought up a boy name I had heard and really liked. I totally though DH was going to shoot it down but he ended up loving it. I think he concidered it his name from that point on if he were a boy. I was less firm on it but once we found out LO was a boy at our ultrasound DH started calling him by the nickname we chose. So it was pretty cemented at that point.

I love my son's name, but there were definitely times in the third trimester where I questioned it. I was worried about how it sounded with our last name, but everyone comments on how much they love his name so I think I was just paranoid

With DS1 we were team green but mostly decided on names in the third trimester. We had two options for boys with one front runner and decided after he was born.
With DS2 we also had two names with a front runner and chose neither because they didn't feel right once we met him. We chose different first and middle names that never even made it into earlier discussions.
