WHY do people think it's OK to say whatever pops in their head when it comes to pregnancy and babies?!! Good for you for laughing off the crazy lady!

Someone asked me if my Dr was ok with my LO's weight cause she looked a little thick!

@Lags: Hasn't she ever heard of the phrase cephalocaudal . . . babies heads grow more than their bodies from birth to around 5 months. And seriously, when is 7 pounds *big* for 7 weeks? *lesigh*

@MamaMoose: I have no idea! At this point (30 weeks), I am starting to think *pregnancy brain* has little to do with the population that is actually pregnant, and much more to do with the instant mental impairment that occurs whenever someone comes within a 10 yard radius of a pregnant woman.

I hate people who make comments about babies' weight; way to instill a complex from early on!

People always mistake DD for a boy and DS for a girl, but I don't mind that so much.

UGH. Some people are so RUDE! Once a woman at church came up to me and said "Why are your son's eyes so small?" Ok, they're a little small but not THAT small. Anyway how would i answer a question like that anyway??? Uhhh, cause he was born that way???

People are so rude, wow. I haven't had any rude comments yet. Just dopey ones where people think she is a boy dressed in all pink. That was only when she was a baby though.

Yes, my son is like 90th percentile in weight and height so he's def bigger than most babies. It's so annoying when people state the obvious that he's a big boy. DUH, I know that.

You should have said "That's funny, I was just thinking the same thing about your head!"
