I believe mine is going to be Eric Carle inspired...I'll find out on Sunday! I am just not sure if it is focusing on one book (The Very Hungry Caterpillar) or more than one.

I LOVE this "Chanel No. 2" shower, it's for a second baby though, and I don't know anyone who has a shower (especially this elaborate!) for their second baby - but it's sure gorgeous: http://blog.hwtm.com/2011/02/fabulous-coco-chanel-inspired-baby-shower/
Library/Book themed shower - my sisters incorporated a variation of this for my shower. On the invite they asked everyone to bring a children's book in place of a card. I LOVED that. Now I have a great collection of the best books.
Sweet Shoppe shower - I did this for my sister. It was so cute!

butterflies, around the clock (that is fun becuase you can assign people "times" and they have to bring a gift for that time, ie: nap time, feeding time, play time, bath time, etc helps clean the registry!)
