I'm almost 4 months post partum and I don't like tight pants or SSC on my pelvic area. It's not pain I feel just discomfort or pressure from my c-section. Maybe it's the numbing pain I still feel.
Anyone have a c-section and can't find SSC comfortable? I know I can still use a SSC to back wear when the twins start sitting unassisted.

I'm 5m pp and my incision is definitely still uncomfortable.
I can wear my ssc and tight-ish pants, but I definitely feel it rubbing the incision. I've found that wearing high waisted compression underwear helps make it feel a little better and more supported. I got mine in a 2-pack from Destination Maternity.

I wear my SSC higher up like around my natural waist, but I never had a problem wearing it post c-section perhaps because of this. I find it more comfortable that way.

Maybe that is why I switched to wrapping? Never felt super comfy with any ssc and tried several. In the newborn weeks I had a bjorn but that has no waist band, maybe that is why it worked for me

@bluestriped bee: try wearing the waist high! Like what @Banana330 said, around your natural waist. It's much more comfortable regardless of scar.

I agree with the PPs. I've always worn the carrier closer to my natural waist so it was never near my scar to begin with.

I've never had that problem. I agree to try the waist higher. Mine doesn't go near my incision.

My guy is three weeks old (and that's my fourth csection) and I had him in a SSC the other day. Which kind Of carrier do you have? I'm currently using a Kokadi Flip Baby, and because he's so tiny, the waist strap is rather high. But I've never had discomfort with wearing.
