I'm looking at buying a soft structured carrier and wondered if anyone had tried the new Beco Soleil yet? It looks a lot like the Ergo to me - no foward facing, higher weight limit, infant insert - but a little sleeker and with more accessory choices. I think the Gemini might better meet my needs now (5 month old) but the Soleil might last longer? Has anyone had a chance to give the Soleil a test drive, and what did you think?

I have a Gemini and I've put it to good use now... DD is 22 months and although she was hating it recently,
She napped in it well yesterday. But, I'm intrigued with the Soleil for it's longer length and accessories. I had an ergo with my eldest daughter and regretted selling it to buy the Gemini. I'm probably getting the Soleil next. Not a fan of front-facing out carries anyway. -
I have the Gemini and love it! I haven't done a forward facing carry yet, but LO doesn't seem to mind at all. (She is 8.5 months)

Thanks for your feedback! I couldn't find anywhere near me that stocked the Soleil, but I did give the Ergo and Gemini a test drive. I went with a Gemini since it was more of a known entity, but DH agreed that if we have another LO when L's a little older, maybe we should get a Soleil for the older one and we could each wear one.
