I’m in an email debate with a friend regarding the risk of Third Hand Smoke and Paternal Marijuana Use and increased risk of Sids. Please help me settle this argument with scientific articles, not just with “common sense” arguments (ha ha) or “links” to threads or yahoo articles, since she’s not accepting this as real evidence. I need hard science to back this up! Debate is as such: *she does not smoke marijuana*. Her live in boyfriend does recreationally- not with the rolled up joints but through one of those bong things. He confines it to one room, which right now is their study but will eventually be a nursery in 6 months. She thinks it’s OK, it’s hardwood, no curtains, blah blah…. but I say that the fumes permeate and will remain and that is no bueno for baby.

Note: he will never be “smoking in baby’s face” or anything. It’s not a druggie pothead situation over there. They’re both degreed professionals with grown-up jobs Can you help me find REAL scientific articles citing marijuana and third hand smoke risks? I want to know I did all I could to make her aware. Heck, maybe I'm the one that's wrong!
