Who knows how long it will take to get a BFP but I am wanting to get a book for DH for when we finally do! Does anyone have any recommendations for a first time dad book? Something funny would be a bonus.. Thanks in advance

A friend of ours lent Hubs The New Dad's Survival Guide. He said it was pretty funny. It's written like a military operation manual. http://www.amazon.com/Dads-Survival-Guide-Man-Man/dp/0316159956

This isn't funny but my hubs has gotten a lot out of reading "The Expectant Father"

"Be Prepared" is funny and super informative but it's more on how to take care of baby after he or she is born. A guy friendly "how to" guide of sorts.
My husband got into "Dad's guide to pregnancy for dummies" which was helpful for him.

we got this great expectations: becoming a dad book:
http://www.amazon.com/Great-Expectations-Becoming-First-Three/dp/1402756305
we flipped through it at the bookstore and it seemed punchy and short. of course he hasn't touched it since we purchased it. ha!
our friends gave us dad's pregnant too:

it's bigger which i worry will be a turn-off to my husband, but it has a lot of anecdotes and seems entertaining.

Make sure your husband is a reader before you buy! Haha I bought some that have gone untouched because DH doesn't want to read them. I've flipped through them and related info to him, which goes over much better. I picked up The Birth Partner, & Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters.

Yes I agree with @sorrycharlie! My husband was very involved and went to all the classes and whatnot, but sitting down and actually reading books is not his forte. He prefers for me to read them and then tell him what they say LOL
