Anyone use a lotion they swear by during pregnancy? I've been using regular whatever I have until now (31 weeks) but am looking to get something special for the home stretch (no pun intended!)

I really enjoyed the Burts bees belly cream. It wasn't too think, smelled nice and didn't leave me greasy.

I use the Mama Mio tummy rub stretch mark butter. It's a little pricey, but I love it!

I used cremes and oils religiously with DS, but still got stretch marks after about 35weeks. With DD I didn't use anything and didn't get anymore.
For me, I don't think the cremes or oils actually do very much at all... But they do make you more comfortable in the sense that you're at least trying something to save your body lol

I used Mustela, Burt's Bees Oil, Eucerin, Sweet Almond Oil, and Palmer's Cocoa Butter. I couldn't really tell a difference between preventing stretch marks, but I did end up liking the Palmers when it was really dry in the winter.

Bio oil! I used Mustela during pregnancy and got stretch marks. I've been using bio oil now and they are quickly disappearing. They are about 90% gone and I am 23w PP.
I imagine if I used it while I was actually pregnant, it would have prevented stretch marks from forming.

I was using whatever I had in hand but then I thought I might have seen the beginnings if stretch marks so I got nervous. I have the palmers one that says stretch marks on the bottle. I don't think it really works- I thinks it's genetics- but the lotion feels nice and I like the smell so fine with me. I looked for the Burt's bees but the did t have it in the stores I tried.

I used Burt's Bees Mama Bee oil morning and night when I was preggers with my twins...gained 60 lbs pretty much all in my tummy and not a stretch mark to speak of...was certain I'd get them while pregnant, because I got some when I was heavier earlier in life!

I'm using Body Shop Shea Butter stick in the morning (non-greasy, its great), and Palmer's Cocoa Butter at night. Love them both...totally not doing anything to prevent stretch marks though.

I'm doing everything in my power to prevent them so we'll see if it works - I use Mama Mio oil in the mornings after I shower and Palmer's cocoa butter in the evenings before I go to bed. My belly is so moisturized it's like, shiny. No stretch marks yet but I'm only 32 weeks and haven't gained that much weight yet. Check back with me in a month

I used good old Palmers cocoa butter! No stretch marks, but that may have been hereditary.... Slathered it on at least once a day, sometimes twice.

I still got stretch marks, but I was using Bio Oil and Cetaphil! My mom never got stretch marks, but oh boy, did I! But I am carrying very differently (ALL out front)

I used L'Occitane's Almond Supple Skin Oil twice a day starting in my second tri and I didn't get any stretch marks. While I believe that whether or not you get stretch marks is largely hereditary, I thought oiling my belly, hips, butt, anbd boobs down twice a day couldn't do anything but help (I expected to get them because my mom did), and it made me feel and smell(!) good too.

At first I used Mother's Special Blend but then I got nervous because I read something about complications from caffeine in cocoa butter (I'm insane - I'm sure it is totally fine) so then I alternated between coconut oil and sweet almond oil. I know people are always extolling the virtues of coconut oil and I do love it, but I used almond oil for everything that coconut oil was too thick or greasy for. I used it all over my face for a moisturizer and on the ends of my hair. Coconut oil gets all the love but almond oil is seriously great too. It also has little to no smell. I religiously moisturized my belly, hips, lower back and boobs and didn't get any stretch marks - and my belly was big and skin was super tight by the end!
