Oh, someone help me. I'm measuring 7w1d and I've got some serious first trimester bloat. I'm wearing a belly band today and letting my shirt hang loose instead of tucking it in.
What did you wear to work to hide your early bump? I can wear whatever I want to work but I am going to a customer facility (a TV station) next week so I have to at least be sort of professional.

I did a lot of blousier but not super thin t shirts or shells, with a cardigan over it. Shirts with some gathering somewhere helped. But also, I generally looked a little grumpy instead of pregnant.

@mediagirl: congrats! I wore a jacket to work all day everyday for the first four months 
and that sort of worked bc it was fall. Could you wear a trench of some sort?

A patterned shirt (not striped) will help hide things better than a solid (the pattern is distracting and the eye doesn't focus on one place too long).
Can you do a blazer, or is that too dressy? If you watch a lot of TV, you'll see they tend to dress women in blazers when they're pregnant IRL and the character isn't because of the way the blazer kind of "stands open" in the front.

I try to wear shirts and jackets that are on the loose side. I'm not sure what on-site means for you, but if it's outside, a bulky jacket should do just fine.

Patterned blousy shirts, long cavelike cardigans. And maternity pants at 8 weeks

@looch: patterned shirt is a great idea. I can do a blazer, I just don't own any. All I have are suit jackets.
@Autumnmama79: and of course, it's going to be 80 here for the rest of this week (and probably forevermore afterwards)...
@Foodnerd81: yeah, i've been leaning towards the frumpy look. I wish my boss wasn't such a pita. She inspects everyone as they walk by her office. She is in the office next to mine and I have to pass her office to go to the restroom and break room.
@codeitall: you know, I have a swing dress and it was perfect this weekend, hiding this from my parents. I wish I had more of them!!

@mediagirl: I think I bought nearly all of mine from Old Navy. Cheap, decent variety and I actually wore them through my whole pregnancy

Shirts/blouses that have a horizontal ruffle across the bottom. They are generally cut a little boxy and the ruffle helps hide without being too flowy. There are lots in stores right now! Sort of like this:

I wore blousey shirts and drapey cardigans which kept my bump reasonably well hidden until about 20 weeks.
