Pretty sure I feel a major sinus infection coming on...what kind of OTC drugs do you take when you feel like you're getting sick and bfeeding? I never know if I should call my ob or not, I don't have a pcp.

I would talk to a LC. Sudafed and stuff are technically safe I believe (so the pharmacist told me) but my LC said that since the meds are to dry your sinuses out it can also dry your milk up.

Yes! Be very careful with Sudafed. I took one dose when DS was past one year old and my supply dropped right away. Honestly, I went for acupuncture and it cleared up the sinus infections I've had right away.

I take ibuprofen, neti pot, saline sprays, and run my humidifier like crazy. Unfortunately, you can't really take anything that dries up the mucus unless you're ready to stop BFing.
