No, I'd be very happy with another boy - I've been loving having a boy, and I think two little brothers would be adorable. I didn't really know what to expect as I have a sister and no brothers, but boys are really fun!

I always always always wanted a daughter, but then when I got pregnant, I suddenly hoped I had a boy and THEN a girl (I'm the younger sister to a brother and we're SUPER close). Now that I have the boy, I do still WANT a girl, but I also find I care less and less about what #2 is! I think it could be really cool to have two boys. I've never seen what a brother-brother relationship looks like and I would love to see them be life-long friends (please let that be what happens if I have another boy)!

My only fear with NOT having a girl is that when my children are grown up, they won't be as close to me. I feel like as an adult, I've gotten really close to my mom, but I don't think my brother has gotten as close to her. And Hubs isn't close to his mom at all, so that makes me sad to think that if I have two boys, they'll grow up and get married and leave me and I won't have a close relationship with either of them anymore! But then again, maybe if I only have boys, I'll make more of an effort with them than I would if I had a boy and a girl?? I don't know!

I wanted a girl soooo badly but LO ended up being a boy! I'm so thrilled with him and loving being a boy mom. I still hope for a girl for my next one but if I end up with all boys I will be perfectly happy.

I think I'd be a little sad if number two is a boy. But then again I think we will have three so there is always a chance. If we have no boys then I'm totally buying my niece an American Girl doll!

I love being a boy mom! I was super stoked that #2 is a boy, it was exactly what I was hoping for, two boys pretty close together. We are stopping at 3 regardless, so for my husband's sake and for the experience I hope we end up with a girl, but I would be perfectly happy with all boys! So far my mom's attempted curse of "I hope you have a daughter just like you" hasn't come true

My IL's just found out that their 5th grandchild will be another boy, my MIL had a cute girl teddy bear all saved up... now it's getting a gender reassignment

In the grand scheme of things, you won't be able to imagine your life any other way once that LO arrives.

I thought I would have gender disappoint, but I was thrilled to find out DS2 was a boy. I love having boys, and I don't have any desire to go for a third to try for a girl. I am one of five girls in my family, and I have two nieces. That fulfills any need I have for a girl in my life.

I'd be super happy with all boys or one of each! But I'd be okay if I never had a girl.

If we're lucky enough to have a second, I won't mind having another boy. While a girl would be nice, I think about all of the differences between boys and girls and think how nice it would be to have another boy. I know both of our moms would be disappointed if I didn't have a girl...but I would love being a mom of 2 boys!

Girls terrify me. I am more than ok only having boys But then again, there are all those cute clothes....

Joking aside, having a girl really does terrify me...but of course I will be thrilled just to have another little one as part of our family, whether boy or girl .

I have a son already and am expecting another boy. I think we will try again and hopefully it's a girl. I may be a smidge disappointed if I had a 3rd boy, but it would last a total if five seconds. Boys are great and I would feel blessed to have three boys. I only long for a girl when I see the cute clothes or think about my sons getting married and leaning towards the wife's family.

@rachiecakes: this is so me, as well!! I was so scared of boys. I grew up with three brothers - and have great relationships with them - but I wanted a girl so badly. Well, I have a son and cannot imagine anything different. Sure, I'd love a girl one day - but I am so glad I have a boy. He is the light of my life.

@Mrs. Lion: I agree. I have a 9 year old sister and I love her dearly, but all the drama and emotion - it's rough to deal with! I'm a terrible sister because I laugh when she's upset over something petty, and that just makes her mad!

I love being a boy mom! There are only 2 things that make me want girls. I want 2 girls (we want 3 kids) they can be sisters (my sister and I are really close and I love that relationship), but I fully recognize that all girls may not have that same close friendship. And it makes me a bit sad that my son may not always be close to me when he gets married. You see soooo many issues with MILs and it's hard for me to think about. BUT I'm as close to DH's parents as I am my own, so my thinking is that I just have to be a kick ass awesome MIL like mine is

I have a DS and before we knew what baby 2 was, we REALLY wanted a daughter. Luckily, we got what we wanted. I think DH would have been more disappointed if we had had another son.
