Is anybody else having labored/trouble breathing. Im 22.5 weeks along and find it hard to breathe. I feel wheezy and I don't understand whats going on.

I would sometimes have a harder time catching my breath because your lungs have less room to expand. But if you're wheezing I would probably call your doc to check in.

My nasal passages felt constricted for a while-- like, not stuffy but harder to breath through my nose. Plus towards the end, yeah my lungs couldn't expand as much. The stuffy nose feeling went away at some point!

I was just reading (in either the Mayo Clinic Guide or What to Expect) that breathlessness can be a symptom, because the uterus can push up against your diaphragm later in pregnancy. I'm only about 11.5 weeks right now but get out of breath if I walk up stairs or up steep hills too quickly

Yes I got that st around 22 weeks also. Dr said it was normal BC everything is getting pushed up

With the wheezing it might deserve a call to your doctor. The shortness of breath & such is normal. I've had problems with that since the later half of the 1st trimester. I don't dare take the stairs anymore lol its ridiculous.

happened to me too, but no wheezing. like others have said I would think the wheezing warrants a chat to a doctor!
