I voted for "do all of the games" because we would participate in whatever the hostess/host planned. I would say 1-2 games for a co-ed shower is a good number. One you didn't mention that was entertaining at my sister's coed shower was everyone racing to drink beer from a bottle. Those who were pregnant or didn't want to do beer could do whatever else, milk, juice, etc. It was gross and funny, good way to incorporate alcohol if its that kind of a crowd.

We would participate in everything to be polite. I'd prefer to not taste baby food.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Yeah I agree, tasting the baby food or eating stuff out of baby diapers are not my favorites. The bottle drinking was more fun in theory than it was in reality - and it only took like 5 minutes for the whole thing so it was a lot of prep for something that you could miss if you went to the bathroom!

@lemondrop: Multi-tasking game sounds funny! That's cool.

I'm not a fan of games and prefer more of the activities/crafts like the first three you mentioned. Pretty sure my guy friends, if we had a co-ed shower, wouldn't participate in anything.

I would do whatever to be polite but I think games are kind of cheesy and kind of ruin the mood of a good party.

My friend went to a co-ed shower that was a backyard BBQ and they played pregnant lady limbo - they tied giant pillows to the participants and they had to limbo with a giant pillow-belly. He said it was fun bc everyone has been drinking and it wasn't like everyone had to stop what they were doing and sit down to play a game. It was just something fun to watch or do but not all formal or cheesy

I prefer "activities" that people can do at their leisure if they want rather than games.

The one that is always a hit is when you print out pictures of mom, pictures of dad , and people cut and paste features from each to create what the baby will look like. As long as the parents have a sense of humour it's hilarious!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: hahaa... Dh and I's offspring looked like bulgy eyed aliens. It didn't help that the organizers chose the most unflattering selfies of us lol . Thank goodness DD is a lot cuter than the predictions !!!

Depends on the group. I picked challenges b/c for a few baby showers I've been to, there were really good sports (mostly guys) and they were totally up for chugging coke from a baby bottle, tasting baby food blindfolded, etc and made the whole thing so funny and entertaining. Then I've had quieter crowds who would never want to participate in those things!

We had a co ed baby shower and we did the celebrity baby name game, word scramble and a multiple choice game where the host asked the parents a number of questions and the guests had to guess the answers (that was really cute)

My friend had the who can feed their spouse the baby food the fastest it was hilarious and a hit.

I picked king cake before seeing that "no games" was an option. Shower games make me cringe, and I think DH would kill me if I took him to a co-ed shower where there were games. We're much bigger fans of regular parties with drinks, snacks, and conversation.
