It's my sister. I was going to try to leave that part out of it, but *sigh* it's true.

I think there might be some deep seeded reasons for this behavior, but I was hoping maybe others have dealt with it and that it was semi-normal.

@BabyBoecksMom: Actually no. This is really the first time. Here's a little background. I've always been the over-achiever. I had better grades, played a million sports, went to an ivy league college, have a very successful career, etc. My sister was the opposite. She struggled with all of these things. The one thing that she always had that I didn't was children. So I think for her it was a way to please our very critical Mother. When I married DH, who had a son from his first marriage, our Mother did start to compare the way my bonus son was to her children. Claiming that he was a more well behaved child, that my house was cleaner, she even tells my sister that she should ask me for parenting tips, and I think my sister was able to dismiss that stuff because my bonus son in her eyes "wasn't really mine". I think now that I am having a biological child, she's just gearing up for judgement.

@tana_bk: Sister and I are super close. That's why this is bothering me so much. My Mother on the other hand is lovely and amazing most of the time, but has her issues for sure.
