I always planned on fun ways to tell DH, but after our first loss (which is the pregnancy I did the fun reveal), I just found myself telling him right after my BFP.

Also, I was a HOT MESS starting at 5 weeks this time around. There's no way I could have hidden the nausea and fatigue from him.

It doesn't sounds like your DH feels the same, but mine would have been disappointed I kept it from him that long.

I don't think it's crazy at all. My DH doesn't pay attention to schedules so I could totally do it if I wanted. I am in a similar boat in that I had two miscarriages before having my son and think it would be fun to do more of a surprise for DH. I have zero willpower to be able to hold out for 2 weeks, but my DH would not care if I did for a surprise.

You know your husband best, so if you think it will be a great surprise then do it! I am terrible at keeping secrets. My husband was totally opposite of yours it sounds like...he would ask me leading up to AF how I was feeling and if it had arrived yet. I wasn't able to do anything fun with telling him, I just blurted it out. He didn't care though (that I didn't tell him in a cute way).

My DH wouldn't appreciate me keeping it from him. I've also never gotten pregnant in the first cycle so this wouldn't seem very realistic to me.

I would SO not be able to keep something like this from DH. Plus he knows my cycle during TTC sooo the question would come up and it would be clear as day that something was up.
