My sister is dealing with this right now, I think she was meant to see her gyn this week so I'll ask her what the outcome was. She had the same cyst during her last pregnancy and as far as I know it didn't cause any problems at all.

I had a cyst during my early ultrasound, and the technician said not to worry about it. It did end up working itself out and disappearing at subsequent ultrasounds.

I had small ones on both sides but they both were gone by 20 weeks, I believe. I did have a bit of discomfort that I recognized because I'd had cysts before and knew that pain. I don't know how big they were to start with though.

Yup. I had two (one on each side). My left one was likely the egg that was fertilized and small. I did injectibles and I had 3 mature follicles. The right one was around 5ish cm. The cysts was discovered at my 6 wk u/s with my RE.

At 10 weeks I experienced severe right side pain - it was almost as bad as when I had my ectopic last year. Went to the ER - ultrasound showed the baby just fine. While they couldn't say for certain that the pain was caused by the cyst it was what they deduced since they couldn't really see if I had kidney stones (cat scan would have been needed) or other issues. They gave me some meds to ease the pain, I took a couple of tylenol and had a heating pad for a couple of days. At my 10 wk u/s with my Ob she looked at it and she said it looks like it was collapsing. At my 12 wk they looked at it again and mentioned the size but said that as long as there was no extreme pain then it should go away on its own.
Since 10 wks, I have not had any pain that intense. I had random pinching from time to time but nothing severe. It wasn't even mentioned at my 20 wk u/s.
Hope you don't have this experience, but, your doctors will/should monitor it every time you get an u/s.

I did. My OB said it's very common to have one on the side that you ovulated from, and you may feel more cramping from that side. She also said that most of the time they resolve themselves. Mine went away on it's own. It wasn't mentioned after my first ultrasound, so I don't know how long it took.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Nope - but, I went into the ER on a Friday and I already had a scheduled u/s the following Monday or Tuesday (can't remember). If I didn't already have an appointment scheduled I would've definitely made one. My Ob/gyn didn't seem too concerned and I was told what I needed to look out for (severe pain, fever, chills) which, thankfully, I haven't experienced This was also reiterated to me at my 12 wks. I freaked out a little (thanks, Dr. Google) but so far, so good!

They saw a cyst on one of my ovaries (I don't even remember which one) on my first ultrasound with this pregnancy. Said that if I felt achy on that side it was probably that but not to worry. I'm 31 weeks now and haven't heard a thing about it since.

I had one and my doc said it was nothing to be worried about.

I did not but my coworker did when she was pregnant. I can't remember all the details but she did have to have surgery to have it removed, she was about 4 months pregnant. Everything went perfectly during the operation and recovery was very fast. She delivered her baby with zero problems on time. I'm just relating the story because, even though she was definitely worried, everything was just fine in the end.
