Aww! Poor thing! I'm only 19 wks, but that's my fear when I get further along.

@grizz: Oh no!!! I'm smiling reading that. Only a little while longer until you get to meet your LO!!

I can't really recall anything like that happening while I was still pregnant but pp I had a few "accidents" while changing DS. DH was right there and he's never lets me live it down. I didn't even realize I had gone to the bathroom until DH told me!! (BTW I cannot believe I just admitted that). I had a really bad UTI pp though which made controlling my bladder very difficult and painful for awhile...the UTI was worse than the afterbirth pains.

@Lindsay05: OMG. The amount of times my belly has hit the fridge door when I'm trying to close it or open it... well, maybe it's just a sign that I'm in the fridge far too often these days!

haha, these stories are pretty cute despite being embarrassing! I haven't had anything really embarrassing happen yet but I still have 10 weeks to make it happen!

@grizz: Haha...oh no! I would have smiled at you too, but maybe just let you know it was sticking out!

I fell while pregnant on a busy Philly street in front of a ton of people. There was a sign in the middle of the sidewalk and I tripped over the legs. I couldn't catch myself with the extra weight and just went down. People were horrified and ran over to help me (who says Philly isn't the city of brotherly love??) I wasn't hurt but was horribly embarrassed with myself.

No one ever noticed but I leaked pee all the time between week 33-36 !

@2PeasinaPod: Oh, I've eaten it on the cobblestone streets in Philly before. Like, "my feet were above my head" type fall. I wasn't pregnant, though. I just have a hard time staying upright!

I haven't had anything embarrassing happen yet. But I constantly live in fear that I'm going to gas my co-workers accidentally.

@rahlyrah: I LOVE that you let them blame the other 8th graders!

I haven't had anything too embarrassing yet but I'm really worried about the pee thing-- I've had some close calls just from laughing too hard while I've been drinking, pre-pregnancy! I'm 31 weeks and I'm afraid it's just a matter of time.

The gas is a little outrageous but I can usually let it out when no one is around. I thought DH was getting into the shower and I had a few minutes for things to clear out the other day, but he ended up coming right back into the room and got all concerned that his clothes were dirty or something-- he made me smell his shirt before I finally admitted it was just me At least it was only him though.

And I hit my belly on bathroom stall doors in public restrooms ALL the time. It's like gymnastics to get the belly away from the door these days.

Uhhh the gas thing... yeah. I let em rip all the time, and I feel sooo bad about it! We were at Target the other day and I just couldn't hold it in! I made DH RUN with me away from the aisle lol!!

The gas stories crack me up - I've let my SIL/BIL blame it on their 13 month old before... haha

I fell down the stairs at home once. I landed on my butt and slid all the way down. The impact of the fall on my butt and diminishing bladder control led to a little... accident...

Pregnancy is so glamorous

I spilled coffee on me as I was leaving Starbucks while maybe 30 weeks pregnant. I wiped up a little that got on my shoe and went through most of the work day before catching myself in the mirror and seeing a huge stain on the underside of my shirt below my belly. Darn thing got in the way!

Oh, ETA, toward the end, I ran to get the door when the doorbell rang, and I banged my belly into the door while trying to see through the peep hole. Luckily nobody saw that one

When I was around 37 weeks pregnant, I had someone from Corporate ride with me for an entire day to see accounts. I had horrific gas (especially at the end when my guts were squashed!!!) a nd had to hold it in ALL DAY. Or at least until I went to the bathroom bc I did not want to gas this man in my car and have to pretend like I didn't smell anything & had no idea there was a black cloud of pregnant fart suffocating us. Well I did pretty good until the end of the day and then it happened and I couldn't hold it in anymore but I tried really hard- so it came out as this muffled growling fart. I froze for a second and tried to cover it with, "Oh my gosh, did you hear my stomach?!? The baby must not be happy with what we had for lunch!!!" Like trying to play it off as my stomach making all that noise. I don't think it stunk though...Probably because I willed it not to SO HARD as I felt it escape me....I was looking at the guy and smiling, but in my head I was screaming, "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

@PrincessBaby: I don't mean to laugh but you told that story so perfectly! It made me chuckle.

@Mrs. J: This reminds me of the time I pulled into a parking spot at the grocery store and didn't put my car in park... when I looked around before getting out, I thought the cars next to me were just pulling out.... but really it was me creeping forward. Oy!

Im not having the gas thing but im totally leaking pee now, when I try to walk (my pelvis has given up completely). I actually bought liners while I was shopping with DH - it seems I've lost all my pride!!
