Since having my son I have realized that I am pretty selfish and very impatient. Obviously it is hard to actually be selfish while caring for him, you just do what needs to be done, but many times I find myself internally whining. In my head there is a whole lot of "You pooped again! I don't want to change a diaper right now" or "Really? Do you have to throw your food on the floor just to make it harder to clean up." Man do I see myself as a selfish person now! Thankfully I do see where raising kids is making me into a better person. Breaking down my own flaws and hopefully making me better in the long run!
