Yes, once when i was in the second trimester. The grey hairs were awful!

No, but only because I don't usually (I have a few grays, but my hair is light enough to blend with them so far). If I usually did, I think I would.

Just during my first pregnancy because I had platinum blonde highlights before I got pregnant and I let them go until the second trimester. I didn't want to keep getting them retouched so I went brunette for the rest of the pregnancy.

Once at 5 weeks pregnant and once at about 32 (I think?). Both times were dark brown permanent, with some highlights from midlengths, so nothing too major.

No, but I don't dye it anyhow. I'm looking forward to completely silver tresses, and I suspect that they're not that far away!

Yep. I kept my normal hair routine while pregnant. The girl that does my hair knew I was pregnant both times before I did. I guess my hair changes.

yes - after the first trimester. and i went to a salon for sure. i wouldn't trust the box stuff you do on your own.

Yes right at 1st tri & hated the color and had it re dyed again. Now I love it.

No... Mostly b/c I had no plans to! My hair hasn't been colored for years.

Yep, my doctor laughed at me when I asked and said that was dated.

Yep, and as a hair stylist, I think it's a little silly/overly paranoid to stop. I usually just tell me clients it's at their discretion.

@CRGmama: That's so fascinating because my stylist refuses to color her clients hair when they are pregnant! That's why I asked. I think for a future pregnancy I may find someone else to color it because going 9 months again without color depresses me!

Twice! Once when I was about 12-14 weeks and again at 32 weeks.
I talked to my midwife about it and she said just make sure it's a well ventilated area, and to get fresh air if I feel weird/dizzy. Talked to my hair stylist and she confirmed it was okay and she'd take good care of me.

No, I was so anxious during pregnancy I changed a lot of my beauty routines/ products. I have heard highlights are just fine. I was way overboard!

I had blonde highlights done right before my bfp. I waited until the second tri and did an all over color instead of keeping up with highlights.

Yes, through both pregnancies. My hair dresses used an ammonia free dye while I was pregnant.

Yep. I get my roots done every six weeks. I had it done the day I got the blood tests results from the doc. My stylist knew before my husband (he was on a plane). Did the same with LO1. No issues.

@coopsmama: Has your stylist ever been pregnant? And if so, did she stop working during her pregnancy? If her reason for not coloring your hair is exposing you to chemicals . . . you see where I am going with this. Maybe she is worried that your hair won't respond the same? But even then, I don't see why she wouldn't just give you a heads up and let you make that decision instead of making it for you.

@pwnstar: No, she hasn't been pregnant. She is child free by choice. She has said that she if she were to get pregnant (totally hypothetical because they've decided they don't want kids) she would take some extended time off so I'm sure she thinks it's really detrimental.
