My doula is all about eating and drinking during labor - her favorites are Greek yogurt and coconut water. My OB, although she was fine with that, warned me that during labor, "you wear what you eat," and suggested I stick to strictly low fat foods - bananas, etc.
Did you eat and drink during labor? What kind of things tasted good? If you ate, did you end up "wearing it?"
Once I got to the hospital it was juice and popsicles, which gave me HORRIBLE heartburn! So I also ate a bunch of Tums while pushing.
I think it just depends on your body and your labor, since some people can keep anything down and some people throw up everything.
