I'm so impressed with everyone who did so much exercise! I couldn't go for a ten minute walk without needing to sit down/eat during my first tri, so I just never went next level. Started prenatal yoga but that was more about breathing than exercise. Labour was fine and easy but I did have to put in serious diet/exercise pp to shift the last bit of weight. So next time I hope to be more active!

Nope Once the morning sickness and extreme exhaustion subsided, I started getting horrific pain in my hips. That lasted to the end, coupled with some extreme plantar fasciitis in the last 10 weeks. I couldn't walk comfortably, let alone exercise!

I worked out a ton during pregnancy. I'm a triathlete so I already exercise at a level much higher than most. I kept my training the same through the first trimester and then altered it as needed based on how my body felt and for the heat since I live in NC and it gets brutally hot during the summer. Did a triathlon at 23 weeks and was still lifting weights a week before giving birth. I'm convinced that's why my recovery was so smooth.

@alphagam84: you're amazing!!!
I'm exercising 3 days a week. I teach exercise classes so it's keeping me accountable. Hopefully I can keep it up and stay fit and gain less wieght with this pregnancy.

I played tennis 2 to 3 days a week for my whole pregnancy. This is the same that I did pre-pregnancy and now post pregnancy.

I think maybe next pregnancy I will try a little harder, but this one (my first) I didn't work out. Partially it was because I was told to 'rest', and you don't have to tell me that twice!
I was just so tired in the beginning that I didn't have the energy anyway, and once 2nd tri came my groin became more pressurized and uncomfortable.

I work out 5-6 times a week pretty intensely. Spin, long runs, swimiming, lifting weights, walks, etc. This morning at 32 weeks I ran 6 miles. 8 mile hikes early on.
I really believe has made this pregnancy incredibly easy and healthy.... I feel great and have no uncomfortable symptoms. It's crazy!

Nope. I did before I got pregnant but I had horrible all day sickness until 28 weeks and then hip/back issues.
