I was talking to a friend today about how much trouble I've been having breathing, especially within the last week or so. Of course it's different for everyone, but she said she didn't have that problem until the last month or so. I have 3 months to go and I swear I can barely take it anymore! Anyone else have the same issue while pregnant?

yes.. between your lungs being compressed and the nasal congestion I had a lot of trouble breathing! When the baby drops you can finally take a deep breath again.
If you're really worried, talk to your OBGYN!

I am having that now. I can't take a deep breath without it sounding funny.

ditto. i have my 7 month appt tomorrow so i'm just going to ask about it then. i don't have any congestion, just feel like i can't get a good breath!

I swear that happened in my first trimester and didn't let up til my LO was born! And I didn't gain that much during pregnancy, just 25 lbs or so.

I am having trouble breathing every day, and especially when trying to sleep. It's been awful and is only going to get worse! It sucks that Baby B's feet have been under my ribs on the right side for the last week! Ugh!

One thing that helped me- I figured out that the band of my bra was too tight, so I got an extender to hook in and it helped me feel a lot better.

The past week or so, definitely. It feel like Bebe McK is lodged in my ribs, so not only can I not breath but whenever s/he moves it makes me gasp.

I had a very big baby, born 10lbs 8oz, and i had horrible breathing issues. She pretty much had me squished by the time it was all said and done. It never went away totally until she was born, but it got WAY better after she dropped at like 34 weeks.

For me it comes and goes depending on the baby's position. I'm 36 weeks now but about 3 weeks ago I had the most trouble breathing when I'd sit in bed reading at an angle. Some nights I'd wake up almost wheezing. But it only lasted for a few days and is thankfully gone for now.

It was really the last month that was the problem for me, but my friend had trouble breathing the whole last trimester. Once the baby drops, it gets much easier to breathe.

It didn't last long, but I had that problem for a few weeks until she dropped.

Last pregnancy I had a horrible time breathing until 36w when LO dropped, then it was such a relief. This time I've got the same issue and hoping LO drops at 36w if not before.

I did. I always felt like LO was on my lungs. Good luck and feel better!
