Yes, we had a BBQ for Baby number 2 thrown by my sister in law. It was a low key affair.

After E (DS2) arrived we had a small sip and see kind of thing to celebrate him. Now I am pregnant with a 3rd my mum is making mention of having a sprinkle of its a girl ahead of time. If it's another boy we will probably do another sip and see. My family likes to party just to party so not too weird for us. 😂

My friends threw me a surprise sprinkle, but I didn't register for it, and they all chipped it for one gift, an adorable outfit from jacadi. So it was really just more of an opportunity to get together with the girls sans kids and husbands. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a sprinkle/shower for the 2nd, 3rd baby, etc. I would get a gift for the 2nd, 3rd, etc, baby so what's the difference if i give it at a party or when I come visit them at home after baby is born? TBH though, I didn't really need that much for #2 (and that was with an opposite sex baby from #1, 3 years apart), so can't imagine what people would receive at a sprinkle for #3 and so on, or if they have the same sex kids close together...I guess diapers!

Unless someone throws me a surprise one, I won't. Honestly I know exactly what I need for the second time around and have most of it from T. Anything we don't have we can buy as we need it.

I don't need heaps of baby stuff like with my first and I don't want friends and family to spend their money on us. I'd rather ask for their time and help after the baby is born!
