Friday, at 9 weeks I had some heavy bleeding during sex (killed that mood 
) but it quickly stopped and no bleeding since.
We're assuming just a sensitive cervix, and Dr's orders are no sex or heavy exercise for 2 weeks.
Wondering what other's have experienced with this type of bleeding during pregnancy?

I've had spotting every time we've had sex. Not heavy, but noticeable. Doctor said it was due to highly vascularized cervix?

I've spotted a few times this pregnancy after
Drs were OK with it since cervix isn't low

I had a SCH at 8 weeks (so brown spotting) but it was not sex-induced and I don't think it was exercise induced. Not sure what caused it. I was on injected progesterone (PIO) so my RE told me to double the PIO.
ETA: Oh, I did have a shortened cervix for a few weeks. I can't remember if it was before or after the SCH.

I didn't have sex induced bleeding while I was pregnant. However, I did have a previa which could result in sex induced bleeding (and other complications) so I was put on pelvic rest until the previa resolved itself.

I had unexplained bleeding for nearly the entire first trimester. It was sporadic. Once when we had sex, it triggered bleeding with clots. I'm fairly positive the sex caused it. But I would also bleed from walking around the mall for 30 minutes, or standing for like 30 minutes, or just sitting on the couch doing nothing. So who knows. But no sex and no exercise is easy enough to do for 2 months to help your baby grow.

I had bleeding that was related to over doing it, but there was an underlying issue. I personally would be requesting an ultrasound to ensure everything is okay.

@agold: Oh man, that sounds terrifying. Did the issue resolve after the first trimester?
My next appt. is August 10th so I'll find out more then.

@josina: Yes, the bleeding did finally stop. One day maybe around the 15th week, I just thought to myself "I haven't had bleeding in a while." Phew. One less thing to worry about. But, sadly, I had gotten used to the bleeding and it stopped alarming me after a while.

@agold: Glad that it stopped, the first trimester is scary enough without bleeding to add to the worry!

I was on pelvic rest throughout my first pregnancy- meaning no sex. I still ran through 38w, but no sex. I tend to bleed after every pap or cervical check, so I'm prone to bleeding? Although, I've had no spotting during my second pregnancy, I'm 37w.
