on our first, I invited my MIL to our 20 week ultrasound, and my mom was in for our 32 week ultrasound. This time around I think it will be just me and my husband!

We lived out of state almost my entire pregnancy so nobody was able to come. But for an elective 16 week (for gender) and 32 week ultrasound we were able to do a live internet stream which was cool. I would have invited them to the gender scan at least.
We moved back when I was 38 weeks and I had just had an ultrasound at 36 weeks to assess growth. I invited my mom to my 39 week appointment to hear the heartbeat though and I invited her to go to the ultrasound I would have had at 41 weeks had I not given birth.

I didn't, it was just DH the first time and DH and LO for the second one!

We invited my MIL & FIL for the anatomy scan (only MIL was able to come). My mom lives across the country or we would have invited her as well.
MIL said she didn't have an ultrasound with any of her kids, and wasn't invited with any of her other grandsons, so she was beyond stoked to see it.

I plan on inviting my mom and MIL to one later on in a pregnancy but not the first few or gender one. That will be for DH & I.

First one was just me and my husband - we were so nervous! Anatomy scan we brought my mom, and then we had another one but my husband couldn't come so my dad came with me. My poor brother feels left out now!

first baby, so we wanted the experience to be intimate. we only had three u/s - dating, anatomy, and 4d and it was just me and my husband

My sister was an ultrasound tech at a hospital, so she gave me a few extra ultrasounds. Other than that, we only invited my mom and MIL to the gender reveal and it was only DH any other time.

I never would have thought to invite other people. We live far from most of our family, so not really an option anyway.

We have our level II scan with gender reveal tomorrow and we have invited my mother and mil.

I had one every week so we let my mom and mother in law come sometimes. They thought it was neat plus I had plenty of moments just with my husband. With my daughter it was always me and my husband (the grandparents were enlisted as Baby sitters for the other three)

We invited my mom to the gender scan - she insisted we go alone but we knew she wanted to be there so we insisted she come. She cried when she saw that little baby.

We're like @Oceanis723: and have them regularly, so DH and I have had lots of moments seeing our babies with no one else there. My mom might be coming down this weekend, so I told her she could come a day early if she wanted to so she could go to our u/s this week. If my MIL lived closer, I would invite her to one as well. That said, if I only got to have 2-3 during my whole pregnancy, I might be a bit more protective of that time with just DH and me.

Nope, I was pretty self conscious about having my belly on display and really didn't want an audience. We shared pictures though.

Nope just DH and myself. I think its a special moment between DH and I

My sisters sister-in-law invited the entire family - there were like 10-12 people in the room and i thought that was a little weird.

It's been just me and hubs so far, but we're having a growth scan in December at 32 weeks, and I've invited both of our moms. They are dying to see her, so I'm happy to share this with them.

We didn't invite anyone to any. We brought back pictures. I miscarried before so apts were always pretty scary for me..... You just never know. And I didn't want a crowd around if something did happen. I'm sure our moms would have liked to be there, but I just couldn't.
