Haha...I totally bought tampons and pregnancy tests in the same transaction, thinking one of them was going to be a wasted purchase. Well, I guess SOMEDAY I will use the tampons.

it was our third cycle and I was getting cold feet - I'd decided if we didn't get pregnant we were going to wait awhile.

well, we timed it for my usual ovulation date and on a whim, I tested 2 days later - and had a positive OPK. I figured the last 2 months didn't work as far as sperm sticking around, why would this one?!

well...might be something to that shettles thing. lol. we had sex 3 days before I ovulated (I ovulated the 2 days late!), and got our little girl. I had a gut feeling the entire time (from the day I took the OPK) that it would be the month. I tested positive at night on 9 dpo - I was convinced all day that I was pregnant!

of course - now I am so glad that we did get pregnant that cycle!

Nope, not until I had some GI upset a few weeks later. I had just gone off Clomid b/c we were taking a break due to all the stress, and I thought I needed the meds to ovulate. I had for months, after all!

The first time we tried I had a feeling I was but the early detection test came up negative. I still had a feeling I was but when AF was due I tested again and still negative. Everyone that I talked to about was saying, 'better luck next time', etc. but I kept testing and over a week later it came up positive.

Both times I've been pregnant I knew before getting the BFP. I had even taken negative tests and knew that it just wasn't showing up yet. My sign was massive bloating that I've never experienced any other time in my life.

I had no idea. Totally oblivious.

I was oblivious and only tested early because I was bored and figured I might as well go pee on something. I was convinced I wasn't pregnant and thought a BFN would be easier to take on the weekend by myself instead of crying at work when AF would inevitably arrive. I was totally wrong - looking back now though, there were a few things that were different than my usual cycles.

i was 100% convinced i wasnt pregnant. i had all my tell-tale signs of AF....i was, of course wrong! lol

I hadn't seen AF in 6 months (PCOS) and didn't think it was a possibility.
I thought I was seriously ill - took the test to rule out pregnancy. 5 times.

The first time I knew right away before I had even missed AF. The second time I wasn't sure at all, but then when AF didn't show I knew...I think I was just in denial so I waited another week to test!

Im one of those freak women who woke up the morning after sex and knew i was pregnant. Rofl

We were actively trying and I was temping, and I knew we'd timed it right. I was SURE I was pregnant. And I'd tell you that it was different from all those other times I was sure! But really... I was always sure I was pregnant, even when we hadn't timed right or a few times when I was on the pill!

@FutureMrsMcK: You pretty much wrote my exact experience too. The only symptom I had was being exhausted at 6 DPO, but we were traveling so I didn't think anything of it.

I totally knew both times. I had always kind of scoffed at women who said that they "just knew" because it seems like there's always something going on in your body, so I often wondered if I was pregnant. However I knew for sure, within a couple days of conception. And now I'm one of "those women"

I just KNEW I was pregnant. I had a really bad sharp back pain that I'd never felt before that I was certain was implantation. The day after that, I felt crappy, thirsty and had hot flashes. I was so convinced that I was pregnant that I took a test two days later and it was negative. I just didn't believe it - so took another one that afternoon. BFP!!!
