Did you notice losing your mucous plug?
With DD I was fully aware when it happened, about a week before I went into labor. From what I read, everyone loses it, but not everyone realizes or notices it.

Oh yes. It was dark, thick and pretty long. It would have been impossible to miss.

Yep. It didn't come out as one solid plug, but it came out over the course of about 1/2 hour. I started early labour very shortly afterward.

I didn't lose mine until my water was broken for almost a day and it think it came out in pieces between cervical stretch & sweeps. Cringe...

Yes, about 40 mins before my water broke and labour started, I lost my mucus plug in the toilet. It was bigger than I thought it would be! I actually asked DH if he'd like to take a look. He declined.

@lawbee11: well don't let me be the only one to enjoy it. If you're going to post it put it here for all to see

Oh yes. I thought I had lost it the morning I went into labor, but when I was in labor I saw what losing it really meant.

Nope! But I was an induction and I had to be on magnesium so I was stuck laying in bed the entire time. I couldn't really see anything down there so I probably just missed it. I'm assuming since they manually broke my water they had to have gotten past the mucous plug for that.

Yes the morning before I went into labor I lost a large blob of it. I had my bloody show while I was in active labor heading into transition. I knew it was time to go to the hospital bc I started feeling more pressure too.

I think I felt it coming out, but not sure. I was induced so during one of the nurses check ups on me, she told me I just lost my mucous plug. I never saw it though. She changed out the pad under me and went on about her business while I continued to labor.
