I got a mirena after DD was born and again after DS was born. We're undecided on a third.

Nope. I took my last pill 4 years ago and haven't been back on since. I took them for about 8 years and then realized how much better I felt off of them. I don't really want to go on BC again.

We have 2 LOs and want a third soon-ish. After LO1, I had one cycle before getting pregnant again. It took awhile getting pregnant with LO1, so I'd decided not to go back on BC until we were done having babies. After #3, one of us will take permanent measures.

I got Mirena. DH will get snipped after we have another. I won't get Mirena again or he will never go.

No. I was nursing and knew we wanted more. I'd like DH to get a vasectomy when we are done done , but he's pretty against it , so I'll probably get a tubal. TBD, I won't decide for a while. I don't know yet how many kids I want.

Nope. I'm a crazy hormonal mess on hormonal birth control, and also don't want an iud. So we're using pull out method with the understanding that we'd be fine with another pregnancy. We'll take some sort of permanent measure when we're done. Neither of us want me to go back on hormonal birth control.

No, it was hell when I came off bc, I had my period for three months straight!
We ttc dd right after having DS, and now are wanting to ttc again because I started having periods again. I have severe endometriosis, so time is of the essence

I had an IUD between kids, I'm getting another one next week, and we're in the process of setting up a vasectomy for D. 100% sure we want no more babies!!!

Nope and I never will. Birth control messed with me way too much. Condoms if we are preventing. But I have a feeling we will be NTNP for a while since we want a large family.

I took the mini pill while breastfeeding. I tried Paragard but after weeks and weeks of constant bleeding, cramping, and a ruined vacation, I had it removed.

I have been on the regular pill since then. I have never had any bad side effects from the pill (before LO or after), so I don't mind taking it for now, but really want DH to get a vasectomy so I can quit pumping myself with hormones (which I've been doing almost constantly for over 10 years, except for the short period of time we were TTC and having our one and only LO)

I have the Mirena after LO1. DH will likely get a vasectomy after a future LO2. Mirena is actually pretty great but I'm ready to be done with hormones.

I got the Mirena. DH talks about a vasectomy when we're done but that's pretty far off.

I've gotten the mirena after both LOs. Barring any complications in the future, I think I'll keep it forever. I love love love the light periods and 99% effectiveness with no side effects (for me).

I had a Mirena before LO and got another PP. My OB wanted to know the BC plan for PP while I was still in my second tri!

Nope. Was on the pill pre-children but managed to get pregnant on it. Been using condoms before and after lo2 and will until we ttc number 3. I had a bad mirena experience pre kids so am put off trying that again. Dh is happy to get a vasectomy when we're finished having babies.

No. We are currently just chancing it. We want one more, and if we are lucky enough to have one, we will need to talk about what to do then as I won't want to risk an oops and don't want to take hormonal birth control ever again.

@mrsjyw: I didn't want to get an IUD either - but because I don't do well on long term birth control and wasn't willing to try it again. (Last attempt with Depo 10+ years ago made me have AF for 6 months straight - no thanks!)

I actually feel better when I'm on BCPs and don't have any side effects other than better skin and predictable periods, so I'm back on my regular pill for at least the next few years.
