I'll admit it, I'm taking charge of painting the nursery. Windows open, fans on. Hops is making me wear a mask, too, ha!
Did you paint while pregnant?

we had a painter paint our entire apt with no voc paint while i was 8 months pregnant. so i didn't paint, but there was a lot of paint in our apt!

I was a rebel and painted with windows closed and no mask!

Yes, I helped paint the nursery with my parents. I wasn't going to sit around and direct them! Window was open, but no fan.

My husband did most of it, but I did paint some with the windows open and fans running.

@mediagirl: Yep, I sure did! I love to tackle projects around the house. Since I have been pregnant I have painted the bathroom, baby nursery, and dining room. I have also done a ton of spray painting, but those projects were always outside.

Yeah I helped. We kept the windows and doors opened and I didn't have an issue. : )

No, my husband is way too paranoid for that. We moved when I was 8 months so we had a whole house to paint. We hired someone.

I'm taking a break from painting at this very moment! We're one room away from finishing repainting all of our ceilings. I also painted the nursery. I just try to pick milder days where I can open up the windows.

Yup, painted the nursery 3 colors by myself. Windows were closed but the fan was on. I used low or no VOC paint and was just fine. It took me longer than it normally would have as I took lots of breaks.

Well, I ended up getting banished from the room when my husband decided he was doing the painting.
I'll admit, he does a better job than me anyways. Ha! I got to do the cleanup... I think I'd prefer to paint...

I plan on painting... but I'm sure DH will end up doing most of the grunt work. Thankfully there's a huge window and a ceiling fan in the room that will be the nursery

I did the first coat of paint in the nursery, and helped DH with the second. I did leave the window open and use no VOC/low fume paint.
