Mine didn't.
I basically went from a 34-36C to a 38C.

Nope, just got wider and kinda stayed that way from last time. Luckily, I haven't gotten any wider this time so far.

Mine have and I'm only 20 weeks. I'm still squeezing into some of my bigger Pre-pregnancy bras though.

I definitely got wider, moreso than go up in cup size. I went from a 34 full B to a 38 C.

I went from 34B to 38C. Now, I'm still a 38, but back to a B.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
I got much wider - I went from a 36 to a 40 but my cup size stayed the same. I went back to 36 but now my cup size is a D instead of a small B! Yippee!

Not pregnant yet, but I'm terrified of this! I'm already a 34g to begin with and I can't imagine getting any larger.
I remember my sister telling me how when she was pregnant she went up in size, bought a new bra, and totally broke the underwire in that bra within like a week, because they just. kept. growing! The store she bought it from was really nice and when she came back for a new one they just let her "trade" it in rather than having to buy again.

I was up two cup sizes by 10 weeks and I think I now need to go up a band size at almost 23 weeks. 36C to 38DD. Will they go back to normal? I just packed up all of my pretty lingerie last weekend. I really hope to wear it again some day.

Cup size is relative. If your band size increased and your cup size stayed the same, the ladies did get bigger, even if they're *technically* the same cup size!
I'm 28w and am still a 30E. Thank goodness, lol. I was pretty worried I'd tear through $60 bras every month.

Mine totally did. I ended up at a 42DDD and I was only 20 wks at the farthest part of my pregnancy. Now they are back to my regular size which is about 38 DD

went from A to D. I had no idea what to do with actual cleavage!!!!
grapefruit / 4823 posts
Absolutely!!!! I went from a small C to a big old EE!! I'm now a D(not BFing)

Yep and I have no clue by how much so far -- I haven't gotten measured, I've just been wearing sports bras!

Mine have gone from a 34B to a 36/38 C
A friend recommended a bra strap extender which has been great! As my rib cage has grown I haven't needed new bras! Those extenders are only $1.50!

During pregnancy, I went from a 34C to a 36DD. 5 months pp (and not BF), I'm still a 36D.

@hellobeeboston: Yes! I always shop for bras on the web because stores don't carry that size. My boobs are obscure and expensive, lol.

Yes! And I'm so sad about it - I hate having big boobs. I went from a 34B (a small B) to a full 36DD. I hate it, hate it, hate it, but it looks like I'm stuck with it until I stop bf'ing. Sigh. I really hope they go back to a B, don't really care if it's a 34 or a 36, but I want to be a B again!

I went from a 34a to a 34d. I might have been wearing the wrong bra size to begin with tho...not sure. Anyway they got bigger and now I'm thinking I need to go up a band size since my rib cage seems to have expanded.

Yes. Went from a C to a D and from a 36 to a 38/40...so far!

Ive suffered on the bra department, went from a 36B to a 42D and I'm only 36 weeks pregnant, my Mom keeps telling me that when the milk comes they will be even bigger =[ I've purchased so many bras it's not even funny, always hopping it's the bigger they will get LOL

Started 38D, at nearly 35 weeks I'm still a 38D. DH is banking on engorgement upping me a cup size or two, lol.

Mine did, but they shrunk afterwards when normally they are supposed to get bigger? I was happy they didn't get bigger after he was born.
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
mine haven't at all! DH actually asked me to ask my OB about it because that was a "perk" he was anticipating. they feel heavier (almost 38 weeks) but not worthy of a bigger bra, yet.
my ribs, on the other hand, have definitely expanded.
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
Omg yes. I went from a 34C to a 36 D, and I'm on the verge of busting out. There is a DD in my future! Yikes!!! I hate photos of me bc I'm huge boobs and huge tummy now!
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
i'm not quite 18 weeks yet, and they've already gotten noticeably bigger! i'm definitely experiencing spillage, and i'll need a couple new bras soon. hubs comments on them almost daily.. haha
ETA: i'm already a 36/38 D, so i'm super nervous about how big they'll get!
pomegranate / 3895 posts
Ugh...yes! Started out as a 34DD and have no idea what I am now, but I can say I am much bigger. I've given up on normal bras and am now just wearing these (http://www.geniebra.com/) because they are much more accommodating and comfortable for my very sore boobs.
DH thinks it's awesome, I do not. Today I'm wearing a v-neck tee with a camisole underneath and I still have a ridiculous amount of cleavage. It's hard to feel like this much cleavage is appropriate in an office environment, but I can't seem to help it.
ETA: I'm only 9w4d..it's only going to get worse!

I have no idea - I've been wearing Coobie bras exclusively since about 10 or 12 weeks. The underwire in my other bras was very uncomfortable. Hubs says they definitely feel bigger, though, ha ha! Guess I'll find out when it's time to buy nursing bras.
